Software Engineering co-op student
My first client was Revival Auto Spa, a mobile detailing business in the GTA. I designed, built, and shipped their site, and I also helped them set up their domain and hosting. The main thing I built for them is an interactive pricing calculator that quotes customers based on their package, vehicle type, and add-ons, so someone can see a price and send it straight to the shop instead of waiting on a reply.
revivalautospa.ca →I started Decion after noticing how many small businesses around me either had no website or an outdated one, and I figured my experience with AI tools meant I could turn it into something I could run alongside school and my part-time job. I handle all of it myself: the design, the build, talking to the client, and the parts nobody sees, like DNS, hosting, and getting MX, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC set up so the mail actually authenticates.
decion.ca →I built CalendarAI because I needed it myself. It's an academic calendar and productivity tool that prioritizes tasks, automates reminders, and keeps a week of school in one place. I took it from an idea to something that actually works, instead of leaving it half finished like most side projects.
github.com/Nystrex/CalendarAI →I use Claude Code heavily, but I treat its output as a draft. I read what it writes and look for logic errors and security risks that could affect me or my client, such as exposed API keys or environment variables. Claude writes a lot of the code, but I'm the one directing the process from start to finish, what to build, what to cut, and I review everything so the result doesn't come out as "AI slop".
